True Stories From Sand City is the full-length, full-on debut album from the Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and the polymorphous backing band she calls Valentino Drag.
Sometimes cynical yet often romantic, with both wicked irony and unabashed sincerity, these Stories tell of big city dreams and beach town memories, of love longed for and disdained, of a young woman boldly asserting her place in the world, all richly rendered in Jessica''s powerful, husky alto.
