For many years, Pat Buchanan has mesmerized audience with her singing. At the age of four, it was evident that even at a young age she had a special "GIFT." With the voice of an archangel, she performed at talent shows, in schools, various church programs, funerals, weddings and public functions anywhere she could be heard. Buchanan has performed many, many times on the Ernie Miles gospel show on KNOE TV, channel 8 in Monroe Louisiana. In 1969, Motown president Berry Gordy was so impressed by a demo of Buchanan that he sent her a plane ticket to Detroit for an audition; however, circumstances prevented her from going. In 1985, she was recognized by Grambling State University''s Who''s Who among black women of northeast Louisiana in the field of Religious Services. In 1987 she was presented "The Keys To The City" By Alderman Lonnie Chaney of Las Vegas, NV. . In 2001, Pat Buchanan showcased at the National Quartet Conention In Birmingham ,Alabama, and the 3rd Annual National Gospel Promoters and Managers Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving A rerfect score. On August 4th, 2001, the Las Vegas chapter of G.M.W.A. presented Pat Buchanan at the United Nethosist Church. Pat Buchanan is not only blessed with a beautiful voice but is also a gifted songwriter. She wrote five of the songs featured on her latest album, ''..HE..S STILL CARRYING ME''.. Believe it or not, she..s also justice of the peace, Madison Parish, LA and an educator with several advanced degrees in her field. Pat is currently working on her next project and hopes to complete it soon. In all her ways she acknowledges God knowing he will direct her path. Pat has open for major acts such on Lee Williams, Mississippi Mass Choir, Canton Spirituals, The Williams Brothers, and many other national acts.
