Vic Pellerano,a product of the 60''s. After the Beatles hit the music scene. 1963,I took up guitar & started to compose my own music, being influenced by array of styles. From the Everly Brothers to Zeppelin. My brother and I, did the usual thing, in High school, rock bands,garage bands, etc.
My style of music took hold after finding my niche with the kind of voice I have. Songs and ballads that were folky, carried messages and painted the world with https://www.tradebit.comn Denver''s style was a prefect match for me.I am called "The John Denver of North Dakota". in the Fargo https://www.tradebit.coma. I paint the beauty & history of North Dakota, the Northern Plains and the world around us with my words and music.
The harmonies are simple two part. My brother Arty at times backs me up. He writes also , his style is more rock and roll with Beatle/Bee Gee overtones. So we make a good blend of music. Together we have close to 300 songs. Just waiting to be heard. This CD is one facet of Pellerano''s style of music. Simple and American cut bragging about North Dakota, the beauty that surrounds us all and the love of life.. songs about Alaska, Montana, Minnesota, etc.
I have been nominated, as a 2005 songwriter finalist at the Highway 61 Folk https://www.tradebit.comtowa, MN.(https://www.tradebit.com)looking forward to performing & meeting other songwriters.
I have received the "Friend of the Red River Award" for "Red River Nights", which is the RiverKeepers theme song.. The theme song for Fargo-Moorhead''s All American City is "Crossings" and tells the 125 year history of the two cities.
I believe in the Farmers, the backbone of our great Nation & their plight so I have songs I hope to play at Farm Aid
someday, titled "Scarecrow" & "Against the Wind".
