Richie Mac Carthy and Celine Kavanagh are two Cork based musicians, living in Crosshaven County cork.
Richie is from Monkstown County Cork but with a strong Kerry connection. He has played on the Cork and Kerry Circuit for a while and has gigged in Germany and New Zealand. His Strong vocals and acoustic picking styles has complimented other fellow musicians including Ray Barron, Vince Milne Brian O Reilly, Hank Wedel, Fintan Lucy and Dave Hennessy to name but a few!
Celine has concentrated on vocals with a leaning toward Contemporary Folk and Irish Traditional Folk. She has performed in The Cork and Kerry Folk Circuit and been on tour in Germany with Richie .
Richie and Celine have strongly supported original Folk and have recently successfully launched Crosshaven Folk Club.
