The self recorded and produced ''you are beautiful ep'' marks the debut release for Vancouver musician Richard AP, aka obscurity.

Bringing together a myriad of influences; 90''s Britpop, the Big Beat sounds of Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim, 80''s pop, the seminal fusion of Madchester baggy ... obscurity''s sound is reminiscent of Ian Brown, The Killers, Dashboard Confessional, Bloc Party, and Radiohead (amongst others); melody and harmony driven songs with guitars, beats, and a hint of electronica.

Work is currently underway on a full length album release, tentatively scheduled for summer 2009.
