Incorporating a unique blend of classical and acoustic guitar techniques with infectious dance-beats, Walter''s debut album "a constant reminder" recorded independently in 2003 is an eclectic mix of haunting melodies and thought-provoking lyrics fused to create a unique soundscape. Born June, 11 1978 in San Juan Puerto Rico, Walter received his musical education at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. After graduating, Walter was at odds with the world of classical music. "A conservatory is a strange environment," says Walter, "ask anyone whose been...after a while you sort become numb to music...I felt like I was so caught up in expanding my repertoire and the perfection of it all that I forgot what it was to be creative, which is what brought me to music in the first place." So in 1999, inspired by the music of Bjork, Bach, and Sting, Walter began writing his own compositions in a style all his own, mixing samples and guitar melodies with luscious orchestration. What resulted was a unique aural experience and a renewed confidence in the creative possibilities of music.
