This is my favorite recording to date. It''s very much like you''re sitting in the crowd (I use that loosely) at one of my shows. I feel that my music is best expressed in a spare guitar and vocal arrangement and this cd captures the emotion I felt when writing these songs.
This is the first truly independent cd I''ve released in that I''ve made each one of these by hand in my room in Atlanta, GA. As I''d write songs, I''d add them to the CD and sell them at live shows so people could have a truly acoustic recording much like the show they saw. I never intended for this to be a full release. Therefore, there are many versions floating around out there even with different versions of songs. The songs on this final version, however, I''ve decided are my favorites and I''m now ready to release them as a finished work. The actual track order, however, should be Seems Like, New York Soon, Outside, I''ve Arrived, It''s Not So Fun Being King, You, This Waiting, BackAround, They Know You, Broken Mirror, and Hard to See. But once again, human error was a factor and when making the cds that are being sold here, I accidentally put the songs in the wrong order(go figure). So I guess I created yet another version of this disc that will be floating around. Oh well, the songs speak for themselves anyway.
