Whisky Train is comprised of brothers Mike (bass) and Dave (drums) Walsh, and Nate Frangowlakis on guitar.
Whisky Train has been performing their mix of "hard-rockin'' classics, good-time party music" throughout Maryland since October 2002, all-the-while building a strong and loyal following of devoted fans.
Whisky Train is heavily influenced by a diverse range of artists such as The Who, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles to heavier groups like KISS, Black Sabbath, and AC/DC; glam-rockers such as Poison, Ratt, Bon Jovi, as well as straight-up blues rock like Stevie Ray, Eric Clapton, and Johnny Winter.
Automatic Sin, the group''s debut release, features 13 original hard-rockin'' tunes guaranteed to kick your next party into high-gear!
From the old-school hard rock & roll sound of "Backseat Romance" to the 50''s-influenced "Devil Undercovers", to the modern rock of "I''m Not Yours", and ALL bases in between, Automatic Sin is sure to have something for fans of all styles of good rock music!
After many years of performing and seeing other local and national bands perform, the band realizes that the music is only a fraction of the show. The rest is entertaining the crowd and involving them through audience participation, as well as doing whatever it takes to keep the crowd wanting more. The overall goal is to sound good and make everybody have a great time so they want to come out again and again. In other words, throw a GREAT rock and roll party!
Since its formation, Whisky Train has been played regularly at the top "hot rooms" and have had the opportunity to open for several national acts including: Eddie Money, LA Guns, Kix, and UFO.
Bottom line - Whisky Train is good time party rock that will always get the room up on their feet and dancing. If you are in the area, you MUST come out and see a show. If you are elsewhere, than buy the CD and crank it up REALLY LOUD!
