William H. Rainer, Jr. known as "Rainey Jr." is a gospel musician, singer, songwriter and bass guitarist. He is a true worshipper desiring to fulfill his God given purpose, and that purpose is to lead God''s people to a place of praise and worship. He has been commissioned by God to spread the Word through music.
He is the Minister of Music and also serves as the Praise Team Director at the Church of the Living God in Fairview Heights, Illinois under the anointed leadership of Elder Rex Waddell.

William H. Rainer, Jr., the son of the late Mary and William H. Rainer, Sr. was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. His musical experience, being inspired by his parents who were both singers, began his musical career as a bass guitarist and singer at the early age of five.
He began singing in the junior choir at the New Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and played the bass guitar for his father''s singing group, The Silver Kings, while also playing for his mother''s group, The Brown Singers.
William H. Rainer, Jr. later became the lead guitarist for The Twilight Juniors Gospel Singers. It was then he was blessed with the opportunity to play for the Reverend Cleophus Robinson, Sr. and it was from this venture, his career began to soar with opportunities to perform on local television shows and live recordings.
He has traveled to Germany, London, Switzerland, the Bahamas, and Paris with famous recording artists such as: The O''Neal Twins, The Swan Silvertones, Shirley Caeser, The Pilgrim Jubilees, The Violinaires, The Five Blind Boys, The Highway QC''s, The Soul Stirrers and many more.
In 1993 William and his sister Jewell organized a singing ministry called United For Christ Community Singers where he was able to exercise his talents in teaching, directing and songwriting. Through this ministry, William recorded his first CD produced in 1996, with United For Christ Community Singers, entitled "Glad About It." His second release entitled, "You and I" was produced in 2002 along with United for Christ Community Singers and was gratefully dedicated to his mom and dad.
William H. Rainer, Jr. now endeavors to pursue a new calling. This calling is a solo career in which he has just released his third CD where he shares his life''s experiences and triumphs in Christ.
He has received numerous awards and achievements in music and has also appeared on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show on BET.
William H. Rainer, Jr. resides with his loving wife, Tracy in Belleville, Illinois where he is a devoted husband and father.
