Converging in 2003, after three music majors decided to put aside their differences and try to ''score'' with ''women'', they asked a long time collaborator and drummist as well as a keyboard specialist and trumpetist to make noise simultaneously as an assemblage of musicians calling themselves "You Me & Iowa".
No the band is not from Iowa. Yes they have visited there, it''s lovely.
They play rock music consisting of Electrified Guitars, Keyboard(s), Drums & Cymbals, Vocal Chords & Trumpets, and a Bass (with or without "Balls")
Their 5 track debut "Bigger Than Boston" was recorded August - December of 2004 in Los Angeles and produced by Ryan Ayers and You Me & Iowa.
