Shawn is an Americana singer/songwriter based in Austin, who writes and performs for a mixed bag of devoted audiences. His music has threads of country, blues and rock. And his philosophy is simple – write lyrics with intent and back them with solid melodies.
His latest CD and third independent release, “Ain’t No Easy Way”, is a genuine effort that reminds people of the essence of excellent songwriting, straight forward arrangements, and great melodies. It includes contributions from LZ Love on vocals, Kris Brown on dobro and steel guitar, Joe Faulhaber on electric guitar and vocals, Trisha Keefer on fiddle, Jerome Kinkaid on piano and organ, PJ Herrington on bass and Nick Chambers on drums.
Shawn plans a full performance schedule in support of “Ain’t No Easy Way” in venues anywhere and everywhere, to anyone and everyone.
