A Tragedy...
Making my own album has been a lifelong dream of mine and I’m very happy that I have finally achieved this goal. I wrote these songs over the past five years then recorded and co-produced this album over the past year. Whew, I’m tired! It was definitely a lot more work than I imagined, but well worth it as I now have Blue Window.
Hurricane Katrina and the other storms that affected New Orleans and adjacent areas was a very tragic experience for a great many people. Loss of life and devastation has changed the lives of so many people there. At this time there is still such a great need for help.
While living my dream, I’ve decided to contribute toward helping people through sales of Blue Window rather than just doing it for myself. Hurricane Katrina personally affected me and I feel very strongly about helping the people in the New Orleans Community. I’ll do this by contributing 20% of sales of my music on Blue Window to a charitable cause, whether it’s from CD sales, television or movie placements.
I have chosen the Make It Right Foundation which is currently building housing in the Lower Ninth Ward, New Orleans, because it’s a local charity right in New Orleans. I have always contributed to food and housing causes believing that’s where the need is greatest. Also, this is Brad Pitt’s charity and I just know he’s trying to Make It Right.
