k-bar-t''s roots reach back to the solo project of lead guitarist and songwriter Jason Davidson which began within the boundaries of Idaho circa 2003. It is now a four piece comprising of Davidson, Steve DeVito (guitar/vocals), Brad Lanute (bass/keyboard/vocals), and Steve Urgo (drums). The current ensemble is based in Philadelphia and orchestrates a sound that blends shoegaze, indie rock, pop, progressive rock, and noise.
