Clements skills as a composer and arranger are recognized by a series of commissions for Canada’s nationally known Montreal Jazz Big Band, including a 60-minute suite entitled “Jazz Images” portraying the history of jazz. He has also performed at numerous jazz festivals including the Montreal International Jazz Festival.

Clements is also an active film composer. The latest movie project included the score and recording of music for the Rockefeller Center’s multi-media exhibit presenting Paramount Pictures re-issue of ''It’s a Wonderful Life''. He was awarded an AEGIS award for his score in ''Lewis and Clark: Following their Footsteps''.

Zara Tellander:

Zara Tellander is a Swedish singer/composer who performs both in North America and Europe. Swedish traditional singing is her main style, as well as jazz. She holds a Master’s degree from University of Gothenburg.

Tellander has performed extensively in a variety of settings from church concerts to cirque nouveau, from choir conducting to singing free jazz, as well as radio and television. She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards including STIM (Swedish Performing Arts Society), SAMI (Swedish Artists and Musicians Interest Organization), the Erik Sahlström Institute, L’Jazz and the Swedish Department of Cultural Affairs. She has also done performance work in the trilingual duo-show “Turtle” 2004, where she created, composed, performed as a character, and did videography together with saxophonist Jan Gustafsson. She has worked with among others: Nils Lindberg, Gunnar Erikssons Chamber Choir, Jacob Karlzon, Nitin Sawhney and
Anders Persson.

In 1998 Tellander released an album with Drone records, featuring her vocal talents and arrangements with her Swedish vocal trio Envisa. Envisa was groundbreaking in Scandinavian vocal traditions, as the trio mixed traditional folk tunes with improvisation. In 2005 she recorded “Himmelens Hatt” on Caprice records, a conclusion of a ten year project with her own fusion of traditional Swedish folk songs and jazz musicians. Her current release, with Resa Records, is her debut release with English lyrics. It is also a project far away from Swedish traditional folk tunes. She is looking forward to hearing the response from listeners as she now sings in a language understood by a larger audience.

He is featured on numerous jazz and Latin recordings including “Como no!” with the Nevada Jazz Orchestra, “Out of the Blue” with the UNLV faculty ensemble, three Russ Freeman projects with trombonist/arranger Nathan Tanouye, and three albums with trombonist Kevin stout. He was also affiliated with the nationally syndicated radio broadcasts of “Jazz Night at the Four Queens”.
