Details:
Different paths often lead to the same destination. Each with its own trials and triumphs, they are the catalyst to the awakening of an awareness to our individual strengths and weaknesses. These different paths can create unique views within each individual, allowing them to bring to the destination their own takes on the beauty and the sadness of life. Such was the case for the members of Project H.

In March of 2004, Trey Graham received a late-night phone call from a friend out in LA. It was then that he figuratively (and quite literally, actually) heard the call of music as his life''s primary goal. He followed the call out to LA and within months was on tour with pop sensation Kelly Clarkson, touring the country singing harmonies and learning the ropes of what it takes to be a full time musician. This opportunity only fueled the fire in Graham and he began to try his hand at being a frontman. Trying out different sounds with pop rock (beautiful You) and progressive rock (Nothing More), he eventually found his way to Houston.

Traveling down a different path, Aristides Rincon and Mark Archer had made a name for themselves while in the Houston-based band, goneblind. They saw the band get signed to Roadrunner Records (Nickelback, Slipknot) and toured the country with the biggest rock acts of the day including Creed, Sevendust, Stone Temple Pilots, Aerosmith, Nickelback, etc. During this time they garnered the attention of Wind-Up Records, who eventually paired them up with Creed frontman, Scott Stapp. They wrote and recorded The Great Divide and for the next three years, they soaked in all that they could, enjoying the lifestyle that comes with being at the top of your game. But the money and success did not quench the fire that had become their trademark. They departed from Stapp, and recruited guitarist Ronald Rincon. Up to that point, Ronald had lived behind the scenes learning the business side of the music industry and honing his craft as a musician and producer. In 2007, the trio began writing the music that would eventually become Project H''s sound.

After being introduced by a local tv personality, Graham, A. Rincon, Archer, and R. Rincon immediately began writing songs and exploring sounds that would fit the new band. In February of 2008, they began recording their debut album, New Era. After the record had been sent off to be mixed by Bobby Selvaggio (Creed, Puddle of Mudd), the band began to seek out a bass player that would complete the group. Once again, a chance phone conversation would be the call that lit the fire, this time in bassist Jonathan Lumbley. Over the previous few years, Lumbley had made a name for himself as the energetic and charismatic frontman of the regional act, A Silent Method. A skilled bassist/guitarist in his own right, he became the obvious choice to fill out the band and brought the group yet another dynamic perspective that the they had been looking for.

The band was now complete and in August of 2008, Project H took the stage for the first time. The band brought a chemistry to the stage that can be described as nothing less than explosive. Each song is an intense journey into their lives. Each note reveals yet another layer of their very souls. Passionate, intense and honest, Project H saves nothing, but pours out the very essence of who they are to their fans each and every show. The band hit the ground running and, in their first few months of touring have already played nearly 50 shows in 4 states. Touring in support of their full length album, New Era, the band has created a buzz throughout the South and the Northeast, including nominations by 94.5 The Buzz for Best New Band and Best Band in Houston.

New Era, the band''s debut album, was released in November of 2008 and captures that live show experience on disc. It includes eleven songs about the things that drive us: love, hate, desire, passion, and hope. The album''s first track, "Down", is an adventure into the world of self-destruction and is currently receiving radio play throughout the state of Texas. With a work ethic comparable to only the hardest working bands in the business, Project H has plans to build on the foundation that they laid during the second half of 2008 and truly take the world by storm.
