Randy Anagnostis has seriously been developing his career as a musician only for the past six years, although he actually started piano lessons at the age of four.
He switched to percussion for more than ten years while in elementary and high school and was admitted into Julliard School of Music at the age of fifteen.
Randy studied music theory, arrangements, conducting, and every form of percussion instrument.
He led several rock & roll bands, jazz ensembles and brass bands and eventually returned to playing piano as a "hobby" for more than twenty-five years.
His first albums, DREAMS, was released in 1996 and has received significant international review.
It has been featured in the United Nations magazine, CASA, which is distributed in 7 countries, and was featured in the Belgium music magazine, RESAUX, with widespread European distribution, and was highlighted on South African radio as "an outstanding American artist new release".
Randy was honored with the 1997 Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award from the Connecticut Songwriters Association for the production of DREAMS.
A second album, comprised of solo piano pieces, is currently in production.
