A dynamic duo that started out in the cold streets of Reykjavík, Iceland in 1998. With a hennesy bottle in one hand and a spliff in the other these two guys Antlew and Maximum hooked up and the rest is history.
Anthony Lewis aka Antlew born and raised in Flatbush, brooklyn, Ny, has been rhyming over 15 years and has skills that noone can deny. In 1998 he met a Icelandic beaty queen in New York (there are many of those btw.) and decided to move with her a way from the concrete jungle to the land of glaciurs, fire, and geizers. It didnt take long till he met Maximum who is known in Iceland as the hip hop pioneer as he put out the first hip hop album ever made there in 1997. Maximum was in between projects at the time and was anxious to find a dope mc to fit his beats. The duo hooked up and the first time in the studio they did 5 classic songs that will allways be pumpin in their friends ghetto blasters!
Time went and they became stronger and in 99 they formed a group called Faculty and put out a ep. In 2002 they hooked up with El da sensei when he came to do a show for the vikings and they recorded a song called "wild out". That song among "maximum" and "time money and patience" was put out on 12" later that year by their friends in Lone catalyst on B.U.K.A label. The 12" did pretty well all the way from New York to Australia!
In 2004 they realized that it was time to put out a full length album and "Time money and Patience" was the title of it! They brought some homyz to the lab and did a very tight album that has not recieved less then 4 stars out of 5!
These guys are the future the past but most importantly they are the present! Be on the look out for these guys as they are about 2 blow!!!
