Clenord Ferguson is the author and artist behind “The Truth about Love” and “It’s a Beautiful Day” but first and foremost, he is a fellow worshiper who adores Jesus by loving others and helping those in need. Through his writing and music, Clenord illuminates a clear pathway for believers back to the lost pasture where we magnify The Shepherd by loving His sheep---not only as a powerful act of worship---but to enjoy rich, fulfilling lives.
Born in Jamaica and brought up a single parent family, Clenord will be the first to tell you that he owes everything to his mother’s Christ-like love and discipline that protected his heart through a difficult childhood. After being unable to afford primary school and flunking exams, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ at age 17. Having no plans for his future except to love his new Savior, he found that church provided stability and healthy relationships.
No stranger to ministry, Clenord, ordained in 2002, is thankful for all he has learned in various ministry positions. He is married to Keron who ministers compassionate care to others as a Medical Doctor.
His life is an example of how God can use one ordinary person who refuses to let go of their dreams. His experiences both bad and good---past and present---are the inspiration behind Clenord’s book and worship CD. You will find in his music and writing (and in his life when you meet him) a genuine love for people and an example of what it means to love Jesus by meeting the needs of hurting, needy people.
As expressed through his CD and Book, Clenord has purposed in his heart that as long as he is alive, there will be, “One Less Hurting” person in our world. To accomplish this, he started the Love Beyond Words Foundation (https://www.tradebit.com) to help those who are hurting and the less fortunate in our society.
