Originaly from Brighton on the South Coast of England, Rob moved up to the midlands when he was 16.

He went on to play in conferences and in 2001 for Goldsmiths who attacked the local gigging scene with their own brand of indie-rock. In 2002 he went soloand after a successfull Album, a charting independently released single (which also raised over 3000 for charity) and a gruelling two years of constant touring that culminated in Ireland in December 2005, Rob Halligan has built up a fanbase and reputaion as an "... archetypal troubadour whos stand-up acoustic is full of subtle power" (Oxford Nightshift Magazine)
