In 2007 guitarist Hering split from the INVALID INCUBATORS and moved to Weimar. Since Hering was one of the founders of the INVALID INCUBATORS, Tobi (the last man standing from the original crew) decided with a new guitarist to bury the old name. New guitarist, new songs, new sound - a new era under the name Oi!TONICS.
Hering''s successor is lead guitarist ''Budda'', real name Daniel. Why he is called ''Budda''...no clue...the same as with the INVALID INCUBATORS. We still will play our old songs, but in new quality.
End 2007 we recorded our first album as Oi!TONICS at ''Henne Music'' in Bad Frankenhausen. It consisted of the last INVALID INCUBATORS songs and of the first Oi!TONIC songs, although the old songs did not have much more in common with the sound of ''Strong, Proud & Antisocial''. This year was very painful for us. Besides private issues, we also had problems with the practice room, therefore we could not play any concerts anymore. Now silence returned and a new practice room was found too, therefore in the same time line as with the new release we will be ''live'' again.
