Maxdmyz is a London based industrial metal band.
The band has had a few incarnations which have all yielded great reviews, however they have never had a stronger lineup than the current one formed in 2005. Adding a second guitarist and losing a keyboard/synth player in favour of programmed synths, the band have become tighter more focussed and a lot more aggressive.
Early acclaimed Recordings such as Muthablud EP mix together the relentless hypnotic heavy synth lead Metal popularised by bands like Swans and Skinny Puppy.
Recent releases have evolved into a more industrial tecmetal vein with the upcoming current album SICKSES representing a highly focused achievement, combining striking lyrics with shredding guitars, hard techno synths, ferocious drumming and the band''s on the edge
psychology, the new material can be compared industrial metal stalwarts Prong and fear factory however the band do discourage comparisons in favour of simple appreciation.
MaxDmyz''s major credits include collaboration with Eminem and Royce da Five Nine (collectively known as Bad Meets Evil) on the 2002 release, Nuttin'' to Do, created by Greg Brimson, using ''No control'' in its entirety minus vocals as a rock remix.
