Lewis & Joni-the husband/wife team of Black Spouse, met in Houston, Texas at a seminar. Lewis was a professional touring guitarist for various local east coast bands and Joni was a poet. Once they were married, Lewis moved to Texas where he began to write jingles for local businesses. Joni was very reluctant to add her poetic influences to the creative process, but she had no problem finding her pitch in the harmonies. Once she sang the melody, she would add a lyric or two. If the song did not flow right, she would re-write the entire lyric!
Both realized they had a perfect match in song and love. This is their first offering of line dance R&B and smooth jazz. Please take some time to listen and enjoy!
