His musical history is rooted in gospel and the R&B sounds of his family members and friends who are members of the musical group Jodeci, but his repertoire transcends genres. An avid lover of all types of music, Boobie takes pride in having become a master of his trade after 20 years of dedication. He loves being around people, and he believes in working hard. He enjoys working along side his brother at Hot Shot Entertainment, a record label founded by his brother that is housed in Raleigh, N.C. Boobie’s musical genius and vocal wizardry has placed him on the fast track towards putting his hometown of Wingate, N.C., on the map.
