Atsuyuki Kono also has previous producing experience with well-known Japanese music artists AI and SNOW as featured on his album BEST SELECTION.
Jazzminshroom''s latest album Livin'' in Caleuphoria, is a creation composed of lyrics and melody that displays the perspective of a foreigner in Los Angeles. Through the eyes and mind of the artist, we hear a unique take on his experiences in California itself as well as on the lifestyle and people. The usage of “euphoria” in the title refers to the feeling that is brought about to many people by the atmosphere of California.

Livin'' in Caleuphoria’s tracklisting is as follows:

Track Number 1 - Don''t login me - A fictional representation that questions the California State drinking law. The song tells the story of a character that envisions the spirit of a young woman within a dream, who dies of a drug overdose as a substitution and answer to not being able to drink. The title refers to the character''s disdain towards the spirit entering his dreams.

Track Number 2 - My true story. - This song is written from the point of view of the songwriter, who sees a headless bird in the middle of the night and perceives it as a bad omen. Throughout the song, the artist questions the message and purpose of the bird and wonders if it is a dream that has come to life.

Track Number 3 - The name is Justice - addresses the irony in the politics of unfortunate situations. Through various examples in characters created within the song, the listener is put in a position to decide what true justice really is.

Track Number 4 - Save the motherland - is a look at the beauty of nature and the atmosphere around it, in contrast to the poisoned society of modern day cities. The lyrics tell of a decline in the state of the Earth and urges us to help in saving it.

Track Number 5 - Friday was my payday - is a song featuring the songwriter''s idea of the easygoing attitude of a character that continually shows up late to work and eventually gets fired. The song remains light hearted and laidback even though the subject of the song would normally leave a different impression.

Track Number 6 - My pain, My Hero - tells of the struggle and frustration of a young person who aspires to be like his "hero", who unfortunately passes away. The song then progresses into the loss of the hero, resulting in less inspiration and nothing left to work for. "Pain" in the title plays the role in both sadness and the good sort of pain that can be felt through working hard to gain improvement.

Track Number 7 - Walk which way? - A song about different kinds of people living in Los Angeles. It tells about a variety of people who are letting time go to waste and opportunities pass by without progression. The song goes onto to describe the characteristics of those who are also very selfish and spoiled and begs the question of which kind of path a person is to choose.

Track Number 8 - Let it go - An acoustic love song with a theme of never-ending emotions and the wish of spending more than just the last moments with another person. The song is sung through the voice of someone who is dreading the thought of life without his loved one. The character also realizes lessons through regrets of the past and wishes not to repeat them.

Track Number 9 - Rock''n roll - A straightforward song that tells of the songwriter''s relation to rock music. Even though his interests in jazz music remain strong, it is a reflection of the rock lifestyle. It is told through the words of someone who feels the passionate rock attitude even while being a jazz musician.

Track Number 10 - Tragedy - A fictional story about the youth of California who do not see much of their outside world. To the artist, California represents freedom, yet those who grow up in the state sometimes do not get to experience what he appreciates so much due to restrictions.

Track Number 11 - Sing a song - A song geared towards those who use singing as an outlet. The lyrics describe those who sing in their cars on the way to work or in the shower as examples of people who have their own kind of "stage" to perform on.

Track Number 12 - Merry Christmas, It''s a brand new day - Through the title, it is easily inferred that it is a Christmas song, but the main focus is the fantasy aspect of childhood. The song touches on the concept of keeping your dreams and future in mind while continuing to grow. "It''s a brand new day" symbolizes the fresh start that the wishes of the holidays bring.

Track Number 13 - A man & his cat - is a tale of a man without a name who is raised in an orphanage in Europe and later sneaks aboard a cargo ship to California. Among the cargo, he finds a cat whose fate seems predetermined to be his companion. The cat seems to be the only one who can ‘speak’ his name, because he in fact doesn''t really have one. The side message to the song ends with the cat dying and begs the question as to why people like pets when they lose them so unexpectedly.

Track Number 14 – The liar – Is a story about people who have been born into wealth. It displays the bad attitude of those who feel that they are better than those around them even though they haven’t earned their own fortune. The message the artist is trying to convey is that those who haven’t rightfully earned their place shouldn’t boast as if they have.

Track Number 15 – The stars & stripes – Is a song about patriotism and the idea that people are born everyday and cannot predict who they are born to or what path they are to take. The artist also asks who will be the one to come along and bring change to the world when war continues to bring chaos. The song brings a message that the war that these people see in movies and in television may look exciting and interesting, but realistically the cause is unknown and is continued for all the wrong reasons.

Track Number 16 – See you again – Is the story of a traveling musician who leaves his loved one to play out his dreams of playing the guitar around the world. He promises to stay true and keep believing in the love that they have while calling home everyday, but also knows that when he returns things may not be the same.
