CORDELIA is a rock band that officially began in the summer of 2003 when Chris Jahnle and Brendan Welsh decided to mix their creative and intuitive genius in the area of rock music to create the purest, rawest, and hardest rock band that has come out in the past few years. Jahnle''s insane, fast and fill-laden drumming combined with Welsh''s high-intensity solos and feedback-ridden guitar playing produces a truly incomparable sound. No band does it like they do anymore. Their live performances are an assault of energy, well-crafted rock songs and an aggressive stage presence that will invariably leave the stage in ruin by the shows end.
Cordelia''s debut album "Catharsis" was recorded in Chris Jahnle''s own New Division Studios and released in September 2004 on New Division Records. In May 2005, an EP entitled "The Roaming People EP" was recorded in New Division Studios and will be released in the next few months on New Division Records.
