Phildelphia - based Crush The Soul was formed in late 2001 by Chris Apostolu. It began as a creative outlet to "give a face" to the music he was writing. Over time, other people have come in and out of the project and CTS has continued to grow and take on a life of its own. The music has become diverse over time ranging from driving hard rock with dark lyrics to acoustic guitar driven music. "I try to write what is in my head at the time and not over think what people want to hear", Chris says. "Hopefully, they are one in the same."
