Dave Terry is a singer/songwriter/producer/arranger formerly from Sacramento, California, now residing in Los Angeles. He has recently recorded a new song entitled "Peace For The Children" that was released as a CD single on June 21st and can be purchased at https://www.tradebit.com. He is currently in the studio recording his upcoming album.

Since 2002, Dave has frequently worked with Aretha Franklin''s producer, conductor and arranger, the legendary HB Barnum. He co-produced with Barnum "My Country ''Tis Of Thee" and "The Star Spangled Banner" for Aretha''s performance at the 2002 U.S. Open tennis tournament finals in New York.

Other work with Barnum includes:

- Co-producing the theme song for NBC''s "Passions" which Dave performed with the "Life Choir" at the Kodak Theatre for the NBC "Fan Appreciation Day Festival".

- Co-producing an album for the Detroit-based gospel group "Winds Of Faith".

- Co-producing and arranging two gospel instrumental albums, "Praise and Worship" Volumes I & II for Little Star Records.

- Co-producing and engineering a demo recording for Mel Carter''s musical play "Legends of Rock & Roll" starring Mel Carter, Lenny Welch and Jerry Butler.

Most recently, Dave performed with Interscope Records producer KP on music tracks for the CBS "Star Search" TV show and will be co-producing tracks for the next season of "Star Search" as well the upcoming return of "Dance Fever". He is also currently co-writing songs for artists of the Universal Music Group. Dave has a library of approximately 50 songs that are being recorded and published.

Born in Oakland, California, Dave grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, where he began playing the guitar at age 8. By age 11, he was playing guitar and singing to large audiences. After winning several talent contests he set out to form his first band.

He played extensively through high school with bands, including the "Nite Owls" who performed and won the Battle of the Bands sponsored by radio station KYA in San Francisco. The band also played events with the "Blue Velvets" who later became "Creedence Clearwater Revival". Dave spent the early 1980''s on the road with a performing nightclub band called "Eon Holiday" and wrote many songs during this period. In 2000 while living in Sacramento, he had a trio called "Erogenous Zone" who performed in nightclubs there and was a regular band at the "Silver Legacy" resort/casino in Reno, Nevada.
