In 1970 John S. Perrault aka "JOHN STUART" was in the
music business before. He had a record, you know those
black things that were round, made out of carbon, and
scratched all the time. those things.""" any way, He had
written two songs on a 45rpm record along with a female co writer,
and the song was put on RCA Gold Label, in the 70''s. but
wouldn''t you know it, in those terrible days of music,
the stations would not play the songs without payola. You
know money, the Green Stuff, "" and lots of it."" My songs were were shelved, and the songs in that era were a lot different than what they are now. believe me,
Anyway moving right along, I have finally gotten back into
the Song Writing Business and have created my own label,
"DESERT STAR RECORDS", DSR 1001, which is my first cut of
13 songs on my own label. I have my own recording studio
which I have produced some very nice songs with. I am playing all the instruments and singing on the recordings plus all the engineering and mastering work I did myself.
there is nothing like wearing too many hats at one time, HA HA.
This project is now BMI registered. I am putting
my new cd on cd baby "The Best Of John Stuart" out for the public to hear, prior to going on the commercial Radio Stations, and Indie Stations, and the webcast stations across the nation and the world.
I hope you enjoy my country pop, my country, my christian
music, of which I have one track on all my cd''s no matter
what the count is. there will allways be a christian song
on my cd. God has played a big part in the last year ,of
creating this cd.
