I'd never heard of BlogCatalog prior to reading The Blog Catalog Marketing manual.
That's not unusual, there are many
web 2.0 properties out there, and more are springing up all the time.
What's different about BlogCatalog is that it's up and coming, yet already has 73,000 blogs registered and a PR7 ranking.
I followed the steps outlined in the first half of the book, then waited until my blog was approved, before applying SOME of the techniques in the second half of the book.
