Details:
I have always been fascinated by music, movies, art, theatre, and writing that I don''t think a day goes by that I don''t want to be an entertainer. Like most people who are like me, the long term goal is to be able to give up the day job. Being a singer/songwriter is one of the avenues I wish to pursue in the entertainment business. My influences range from Springsteen''s east coast rock to Sinatra''s Big Band, from Chicago blues to the Philly Sound, from the British invasion to California''s elite song writer, Jackson Browne.

As a writer the one stipulation I have about my music is that it offers a quality of light. Sometimes there is a necessity for darkness but there is no need for overkill. It goes both ways. For me a healthy balance must be maintained. I don''t consider my work to be middle of the road, but barely just staying on an unbeaten path.

My education has been in various backgrounds of the entertainment and multi media world. From 1983-1986 I attended Southern Ohio College studying Broadcast Performance/Management. Shortly after graduating with an Associates Degree in Broadcasting I went back and studied commercial art at the Art Advertising Academy from 1989-1992. Still my love for music hadn''t died at all. I was still writing and recording songs but becoming a commercial artist to boot. When the songs didn''t come so easy I began to write short stories, which can be read on this website.

While working as production artist for a silk screening company, I was coaxed into playing at the company Christmas party. After that came the open mikes. Some went good and some not so good. I guess at that time I was about twenty nine and the once a weekend gigs started to fall my way with the coffee
joints and small bars. I started to study acting to make a myself a better live performer and began attempts at comedy if the audience seemed receptive.

At 39 years of age I am presently working in computer graphics, and on the verge of starting my own business in multi media, interactive CD Rom Development. In fact "Shadows In The Harbor," my third collection of music has also been released as an enhanced CD Rom. I want 2002 to be the year I make the transition into this long pursued career. The possibilities in today''s technologies are endless. The years ahead are going the same direction as the education and knowledge that I have accumulated over my thirty-nine years. I have become a musician, an actor, an artist, and a jack of all trades. Call me an entertainer.
