His history begins with singing and playing jazz on his Hammond B3 organ (styled after organist Jimmy Smith) to singing and playing R&B of the 50s, 60s, and 70s on his synthesizers and keyboards to ballad singing of a "today" Nat King Cole on grand piano.
This album expresses his style of pop songs - keeping the communications open to all ages.
Some of these originals are a collaboration of Dave and his sons, David Jr. and Eric. One of the love songs, We Begin Our Lives Together was written by Dave for his granddaugther, Treona, and sung by Dave and son David Jr. Hangin On For You was inspired by a dear friend Laurie.
Let''s Save The Kids is a pop song inspired by Dave''s concern for kids all over the world after the Columbine tragedy.
