Details:
Hooke''s third album is finally here! It''s been a long wait, but well worth it. They tried to break him, but after a year of psychoanalysis, he''s still just as twisted as ever! And who is this "Uncle Bob" and why did it take so long for this album? Well, Tom got himself distracted by local musicians and he also chose to open the doors of Hooke Records to the public. That''s right kids, you could have hopped in your parent''s car, drove to Pateros Washington, (that''s right... Pateros), and got to see the exact location where his music is made. Also, you could have bought the musical instruments used on his CD''s, along with candles, aroma therapy products, "Vapor Brother" herbal vaporizers, crystals, CD''s and other goodies. And why would you have wanted to come to Hooke Records? God only knows, but if you were in Pateros, life had probably crapped in your lap, your car broke... something bad had happened and this could well have been the high point of the discomfort that you must have been experiencing! But... we closed the store!
Now that we''re no longer in the self promotion stage of the non-existance of the store, you should be well into the first track of this CD, "Bo Bo the Clown", a touching little tune about the evils of clowns and their actions. Then follows "She was Standing in the Light", a song about a misguided truck driver and his "adventures" at a rest area. "Give, Need, Kind, Smile" is a groovin'' tune about nothing at all. "Like You Are" is believed to be based on a 14 year old, pubescent males'' view of his parents. The closest thing to a title track from Hooke to date is, "What Happened to Uncle Bob?" A fictitious story about his favorite Uncle... and by the way Uncle Bob, "...the world IS out to get you"! "Go it Alone" is an anti-war song inspired by our friends at "Democracy Now" (who have graciously accepted a copy of this CD). And a big thanks to Amy Goodman and her hard working staff for keeping all of us here at Hooke Records informed of the events that are taking place around the world. Next is "Tea Time in Palestine", an instrumental depicting the beauty of Palestine and the distress that its population is experiencing. If you''ve been watching TV at all over the past year, you''ve noticed how important it is to use a good male enhancement product. Take our advice, use only ONE male enhancement product at a time. We can''t express this enough. Things got... well, ugly around here when Tom tried getting into "character" for writing the song "Daddy''s Little Helper". Kids, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, or anywhere else. But after proper medical attention, things have calmed down, which left Tom feeling a little less than "manly". Upon his downtime, for the fore mentioned medical condition, he started thinking about one of his heroes and about how deflated he must feel. So was born "Lonely Boy", a song from what might be David Lee Roth''s current point of view, played in the style of Van Halen.

We here at Hooke Records want to send out a very special thanks to all you folks who have purchased our CDs and used the download services where our music is available. The response has been phenomenal! We hope all of you (and we know who you are!) find this CD lives up to the previous releases!

Thanks for the listen!
