Paul''s music captures the very essense of the Psalms, emphasizing the mood and thoughts of the words. Especially moving are the settings for Psalm 32 (Lord, I Turn To You), Psalm 51 (Be Merciful), and Psalm 67 (Let All The Nations Praise You), which are full of energy, depth of feeling, and prayer.
Paul presently serves on active duty in the United States Air Force and is assigned to Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.

The group Inspired! formed to sing and play the music being recorded for the collection You Answered Me. Comprised of vocal and instrumental talent in and around Montgomery, Alabama, Inspired! has submitted work to the Band Together...Artists Unite CD (sponsored by Mars Music) and to the Mary Foundation music CD compilations. Members of Inspired! include Eric Ash, Kate Bobb, Amy Hanchey, Allan Howey, Mara Lattanzi, Allison Niesen, Stephanie Niesen, Mary Ogden, Erik Sumner, and musician-songwriter Paul Niesen.
