When all else failed he knew he had to do something with the life he was given. Born in 1979 to Joseph and Janet Robinson he was fearfully and wonderfully made by God. Although he went through heart ache with his family suffering through divorce and watching family violence happen so often.
It was as if nothing else could ever change. He was taken advantage of by his older brother, who raped him while he step mother was away. He was threatening that if he told it would be over for him.
Years later he found himself moving from school to school, house to house.
To him his mother did her best to make ends meet, but it was her boyfriends that made life hell for him and his younger brother. His mother knew things weren’t right so she decided to adopt him out to his grandparents Dr Rev Alonzo Patterson, Shirley Patterson who took him in without a problem. Given the fact that they had already raised their children, it was a pleasure for them to help out.
Joseph did his best to fit into the older lifestyle his grandparents lived , going to service, reading all that stuff grown folks did but he couldn’t sit still .That’s when trouble began. From the usage of drugs, to drinking and even getting involved in selling drugs Joseph faced trails he figured never existed until then.
Because of his behavior he found himself not being able to focus in school, or life of that matter. He took upon himself a journey through the Job Corps down in Washington.
In which he successfully completed the program in a year. His next journey wouldn’t begin until he returned him to find himself getting married and settling down. That still didn’t start his deliverance until he suffered a fatal car accident costing him over 30,000 dollars. Joseph tumbled his truck down a 150 foot embankment only to survive to tell his story today. Eight years later with success ahead Joseph Robinson has given his life to the lord, Holy Spirit filled and ready to take out the enemy.
