I am glad I have completed this CD. It took a few years to finish because I get so busy with the normal things of life. Things like cooking and cleaning and doing laundry and teaching. And, most important, spending time with my husband and daughter. But, all of these things in my life give me reason to write and to sing about what is most important to me. So, I thank God for my life and for giving me songs to express how I feel. It seems that once I''ve written my feelings down and turn them into a song, I have a feeling of completeness with things I have done and experienced in my life. I want to thank Jamie Brumitt who put down all of the instruments and engineered the recording of this CD in his home in Nashville, TN. Thanks to all of you who support me in your prayers and to my Mom and Dad and family who always believe in me and my song writing.
During the making of this CD my husband, Alan George Hughes, of seventeen years went to be with the Lord. Of course, I have a lot of feelings and songs to still write about losing him in such a tragic moment. He always supported me in my music and I want to keep writing and singing and recording my songs. He worked so hard at welding to support me in my music. Thank You, Alan!
