OM NAMAH SHIVAYA - Mantra for Detachment

The mantra "Om Namah Shivaya" is translated as "I offer my obeissance to Lord Shiva."

Shiva is the Lord who is the originator of sound and music besides yoga and meditation. Shiva is also known as Nataraja, the Lord of Dance. By chanting this Panchakshar (five syllables) mantra one feels detached and a Vairagya Bhava (detachment) is developed.

Chanted by Arun Amin with the Indian Tanpura in the background.
