Thank you for your interest in my CD. I’ve been asked to share a little about myself so here goes. I have deeply loved singing and music since I was a very small child. My mother had a beautiful, warm, rich voice and I would find much comfort when she would sing lullabies to me. She left when I was four and I felt as though my heart had been crushed, but I held on to her lullabies and would sing them to myself at night to give myself comfort. I tried to mimic her voice to further soothe myself. As time went on I began coming up with my own lyrics, tunes and style. This CD is comprised of some of my favorite songs I’ve written over the years. I hope you like them too. I owe an immeasurable amount of gratitude to my wonderful husband, Jim and my beautiful daughter, Heather for their support, undying love and loyalty. Both of them are God’s most precious gifts to me. They each saved my life in more ways than one and have been my greatest teachers. Before they entered my life I was a very self-centered, angry person. Heather taught me how to put another human being before myself and about unconditional love. Jim taught me how to have acceptance of others right where they’re at in life. He taught me about compassion, and how to trust someone other than myself. He taught me how to feel my feelings and to do the next right thing regardless. I could go on and on about them both and about the many blessings and treasures they’ve bestowed upon me. Let me simplify it by saying I am a rich woman today and it has nothing to do with money or things. Again, thank you for your interest in my CD and I hope you enjoy my songs.
