Welcome to Downville! The group Dem Down Boyz are made up of brothers Scoe aka Tha'' Game Spitta and Shizzle Tha Don. The two young writers and producers started their career out at a young age performing at various regional talent shows, and other community events. Over the years their hardwork and refreshing music afforded them the opportunity to meet other local and industry music artist earning them their respect amoungst their music peers.
While searching to find a home recording label was tough for the duo, the Downs brothers never lost sight of their dream and started releasing a series of promotional CD''s to distribute and get their name and sound out to prospective listeners. They would spend countless hours and nights packaging their CD''s, producing and performing at events such as Jazz Festival, The Midwest Black Family Reunion, and other concerts.
As their talent started to season the two had a few pit stops with some local recording labels that didn''t quite fit the direction of what Down''s brothers had in mind. Upon their search for some professional guidance the Down''s stumbled across AL Chang of Fort Chang Ent. a local promoter and business man at a local artist showcase.
It was like a match made in heaven as the Dem Down Boyz would go on to record their music under the direction of Mr. Chang and learn more aobout the music business and perfecting their musical craft. Dem Down Boyz have not only developed their own sound, style, and swagger, but their music represents good music made for the everyday listener that works a 9 to 5 or attends school. Their witty rhymes and new sound has also gained them radio and club exposure with their hit single "Bubble Butt".
After the success of this regional adult night club and street anthem, Dem Down Boyz are set to release their upcoming debut CD Welcome To Downville. The listener will appreciate their Southern flavor, mixed with a Midwest Swagger. Welcome To Downville proves to be what the music industry has been needing in the last few years: creative, different, great beats, whitty rhymes and more.
