Marc Allen and Sky Canyon are pioneers in the field of New Age Music, having created in 1980 one of the original record companies devoted to this arena, Rising Sun Records.
This album, BREATHE, along with other albums they originally produced in the early 1980s are now considered by the trade to be some of the classics in the genre. BREATHE has been featured on hundreds of radio stations, on television programs, used by massage therapists and yoga instructors, and licensed around the world.
BREATHE features Sky on vibraphone and electric piano, and Marc on acoustic piano. It was created entirely spontaneously, and has a soothing, relaxing trance-like quality that obviously caught on quickly and became a favorite for tens of thousands of listeners.
