Details:
The Grizzly Owls are Jenny Andreotti and Joseph Andreotti. "The People Have All Gone" is their follow-up EP to their full-length, "By Night on My Bed" (2007) and to their RCRD LBL digital single, "Whiskey and Clyde" (2008). The People Have All Gone was greatly inspired by the Peter Bogdanovich classic film, "The Last Picture Show." The Grizzly Owls wanted to create music that they felt could accompany the Hank Williams songs which are weaved throughout the film. These are songs that could be heard blaring out of Sonny Crawford’s truck as he races down the dusty road, or be lightly playing in the background as Jacy Farrow attempts to naively seduce every boy and man in town.

The Grizzly Owls were able to tie "The Last Picture Show" time era with photos of Jenny Andreotti’s grandfather during the Korean War in the 1950s. "The People Have All Gone" is The Grizzly Owls doing what they do best by combining personal history with Americana themes.

"The People Have All Gone" was recorded at the Dust Bowl by Joseph Andreotti, and recorded and mixed at Red Rockets Glare by Raymond Richards (Idaho Falls, Mojave 3, Neil Halstead). It was mastered at Noise Miami by KRAMER (Low, Damon and Naomi, Daniel Johnston).
