Victoria Maurette was born July 30 1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A few months later she moved with her family to the United Status. English became her first laguage. Years later they moved to Ecuador, first, and Mexico, after. Finally, in 1994 they returned to Argentina where she graduated from highschool. Soon after that she bagan her career as an artist.
Before graduating she already sang in bars and night clubs. In 2001 signed her first professional contract for the musical “Disney Magical Moments”. After that some producers spotted her performing and called her to audition for a tv show. She started working on daily televisión shows for four years The popularity and high rating led her to tour across the country, Latin America and Israel. In 2004, along with her coworkers, she won the Martin Fierro Award for Best Comedy Show with “No hay dos sin tres”. In Israel, with the show “Rebelde Way” produced by Cris Morena she performed in various shows in front of thousands of fans.
She then dedicated her time to study music, perfect her singing and compose her first songs. That is how “Victoria” was born, her first CD. This album reflects many personal stories. She defines this album as a "rebirth" for her as an artist. It was a personal growth for her to compose, produce, record and edit this album.
In 2006 she participated in her first independent film in english, directed by Juan Luis Poclava. In 2007 participated in five films, two of them shot in the United Status. That same year she also won the B.A.R.S (Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre) festival Best Actress Award with her performance in Albert Pyun’s “Left For Dead”.
Victoria has gone through intense artistic experiences. Film, Theatre, Televisión, and musical performances that go from nightclubs to large Stadiums.
