Hi there - Welcome to Volume One of my Christmas EPs. This first five-song EP features songs made famous by Elvis, Roy Orbison and Brenda Lee. Included are two songs that I wrote myself of which I have received a lot of positive feedback.
It''s Christmas Time Once Again is about the different festivities surrounding Christmas Day, and stopping to appreciate just what the day is about and who we really should be honouring.
Blue Christmas is my own version of Elvis'' classic. I made it a bit different to make it my own and am really happy with the result. I think it has a real Patsy Cline feel to it.
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree is a great song originally performed by the incomparable Brenda Lee. It''s such a fun, upbeat song that I just had to record it.
Merry Christmas and Thank You for Coming is a special song about my home town of Ottawa, Canada and the different Christmas scenes and experiences one comes across when walking through the town. And then, a little something from me to you.
Pretty Paper is one of my all time favourite Christmas songs. It''s haunting lyrics always make me stop and think about those less fortunate at Christmas time and how easy it is to overlook them as we go about our busy shopping days.
