Details:
Victoria, Canada''s Oh Snap! is on a mission--to bring booty-shakin'' rock to the masses! They are generating a lot of buzz with their original approach to modern pop/rock music; vocal harmonies even Queen would be proud of, clever yet entertaining lyrics, solid dance beats, and guitar lines you find yourself humming in the shower. Though best experienced at one of their many sold out concerts, their sound can also be found on their debut album, Flap Harder, produced by Scott Henderson (Atlas Strategic, Immaculate Machine).

On stage, this group of four deliver a big sound, executing sensuous vocal harmonies while flexing their instrumental talents with intense build-ups, smooth segues, and frictionless jamming. With engaging stage chemistry, Oh Snap! recreates the essence of their recorded music with precision and conviction, but don''t be surprised if live versions of their songs are extended and built up to new exciting heights with spontaneity and abandon.

Formed in the spring of 2006, Oh Snap!''s beginnings were a chance meeting between Mitch Vinet (guitar, vocals), Gord McGladdery (guitar, vocals), and Sean Rousseau (drums, soul-squeals) at a lingerie party. The bright red bum flap on Gord''s one piece pajamas drew Sean and Mitch in like moths to a flame. The origin of Darren Minifie''s entrance (bass), remains a mystery to this day though rumor has it that Gord''s bum was once again involved.

Currently the band is getting ready for a big cross Canada tour, and is honing the tracks of their upcoming sophomore album. By the looks of it, 2009 is shaping up to be another great year for Oh Snap!
