Born from the garage We Ride at Dawn is unafraid to be loud, but also knows the value of nuance with well placed hooks, and subtle surprises that keeps the listener guessing. We Ride at Dawn is authentic rock n’ roll complete with rich anthemic layers that are constantly evolving from vintage tones into futuristic arrangements, and lyrics that are friendly and laced with humor.
Formed in 2006, and having released its first album Giving Birth to a Two-Headed Monster in August of 2008 We Ride at Dawn has been finding and redefining itself in a dynamic live show. Having put together a high energy set they have performed all over Portland as well as garnering a spot on last year’s Van’s Warped Tour on the Kevin Says Stage. They are excited about the future and are looking forward to bringing their music to a wider audience across the Northwest in 2009.
Since the release of their debut album We Ride at Dawn has been building a solid fan base and has been heard on radio stations https://www.tradebit.com as well KVFM the University of Oregon’s college radio station. They are also proud to be a part of the Portland-Eugene band collective known as Cornsilk which includes bands such as Mad Orange Fools, Redox, Brett Estep, Squirmy and Filbert Eggplant who work together creatively and in life to support each other’s projects.
Be on the lookout for We Ride at Dawn in 2009 as well as Cornsilk bands and productions at clubs or festivals throughout the North West.
