buRne is a grungy type rock band inspired by musicians consisting of (but not limited to) Alice in Chains, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, Candlebox, and that dude who wrote the National Anthem...
From “the great north woods”, buRne blends a mix of rock, classic rock, grunge, acoustic, blues, and metal. They are known for their unique original sound. They have performed @ Locofest 2007 at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA, along with Dio/Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Queensryche, Shadows Fall and many other upcoming acts.
The lineup began in 2002 as a two man acoustic group playing shows for the love of the art. In 2006 the full ensemble surfaced with a whole new outlook on where to drive. buRne has since been touring throughout the northeast only looking ahead. “We proudly communicate”.
