Joseph Oliver was born in Pensacola, FL on September 6, 1988. He moved around the southern and eastern coast for most of his adolescent life, and starting
taking an interest in music around the age of 15.
Being mostly self-taught, Joseph didn''t play much for the first couple of years, but when he discovered that his love for writing poetry could be a road to song-writing, his interest began to pick up.
After a year and a half of songwriting, 150 songs, and a small, spontaneous tour in Central Florida, he recorded his first CD, "Part of This." "Part of This" was a small CD release available locally, and only 100 copies were ever made. Joseph played the local bars around Pensacola for several months, before deciding that it wasn''t the proper environment for his music. It led him to eventually built his own home studio and record his dual release, "In Between the Strings" and "Classical State of Mind."
He enjoys working on his music and writing at the beach, and is currently living in Pensacola, FL.
