Composers, Ron and Maryann Sfarzo were born and raised in San Francisco, CA. Ron, a Police Officer for the City of Menlo Park, CA. is also a musician/composer. Maryann, a singer/lyricist, has been writing lyrics to Ron''s music for over 20 years. They are members of BMI and perform together throughout the Bay Area.
"America Our Country, America Our Home" was inspired after the events of September 11, 2001. Both being the children of Italian immigrant parents who came to America via Ellis Island, the lyrics tell the story of why America was founded. It''s been called an "Anthem," a truly inspiring song that instills the American spirit.
Recorded in three versions. "The Production" performed by Trent Gardner of Magellan. "The Song" performed by Maryann Sfarzo, Robert Berry and Danny Hull. "The Melody" produced and performed by Ron Sfarzo.
