Here is the second solo CD from Lalo! (aka Ned Neltner,lead voice, writer and guitar player from the longtime most popular band in the NW, "Jr. Cadillac") Once again, a nice mix of classic roots music.
This time, 8 originals and 5 covers. The originals span the spectrum from swinging blues to reggae. The covers include Elvis'' "Treat Me Nice" and Frankie Lyman''s "Why Do Fools Fall In Love?"
The title, "Creme & Sand" comes from the comment by a Lalo fan, "Your voice sounds like creme and sand..." OK, we''ll go with that!
This is a party/dance disc that is also a lot of fun with earphones. Lots of very interesting sounds going on here.
