All my work? Is it true? Yes it is.
Sometimes when I listen to my ''Zither Originals'' album I wonder if I really created it all. All by myself, writing the melodies, playing the zither and playing the guitar on top of it. And then comes my self criticism - why did I put this note there? - why did I play it that way? - why didn''t I correct this part? - And so it goes on .But basically I am happy with the outcome of it all.
Another challenge for me was what to name each of the tracks? I usually have nothing in mind when I sit down to record something new and original. It just happens, and in the end? what is it about?
The Oak Tree, yes is in my garden and it is lovely to sit under it and dream. With ''The Beautiful Views''track I listened to it when it was finished and I could actually visualise the Beautiful Views. My grandson Max helped me with the last track. He listened and said: ''Fun in the meadow'' - thank you Max, and that''s what it is.
I had fun and frustration also putting it all together. But now, it is very satisfying and I am happy to share all these originals with my dear listeners.
