BIOS:
Rashid Lanie (Producer, Composer, Arranger) has been recognized with countless awards and accolades that are a tribute to his talents and broad musical range. As a pianist, Lanie has performed and recorded with such artists as Paul Simon, Macy Gray, and Guns-and-Roses. As a Musical Director, he launched Pridelands (The Lion King album featuring the music of Stevie Wonder, Madonna, Adam Ant, and Yanni). Lanie has also produced a range of musical products, including a collection of American groove music for Sonoton Records (Germany), as well as an album of Zulu folk music, entitled Thula Sizwe. Lanie has also recorded and performed with his group, the Rashid Lanie Jazz Trio. He recently released a solo CD of his classical/new age piano compositions, entitled See What I See. Lanie is also sharing his gifts by teaching music part-time to kids in Los Angeles.
Danielle Vernengo (Vocalist, Songwriter, Actor) has been performing since childhood. A few of her musical theater credits include: Guys and Dolls (Sarah), Oklahoma (Laurie), and A View from the Bridge (Catherine). Vernengo''s vocals can be heard on an original musical soundtrack, Sunshine Euphoria, as well as on two compilation albums of Rogers and Hart Rarities (Volumes I & II). Vernengo recently recorded a solo album, entitled California Country (with two of the songs having topped the charts on Electric Eye Radio). She has worked closely with children, touring with the Kaleidoscope Players with their spin-off of The Ugly Duckling, and has guest-starred on ''Kidz-Time TV''. Vernengo has appeared in national television commercials (Toyota; Tropicana Orange Juice, etc.), and in various independent films.
Lesley Green (Vocalist, Songwriter, Musician, Actor, Dancer) has been entertaining since she was old enough to walk. Some of her regional musical theatre credits include: Working (Dolores/Grace), West Side Story (Consuelo), Camelot (Nimue), Tintypes (Anna Held) and as Nancy in the Los Angeles debut of the original play, Nantucket Sleighride. Green has held starring and supporting roles in several independent films, and also hosted a Colorado-based TV show, entitled Tonight in Denver. Green was the lead singer and songwriter in the band, Pieces, and in the a cappella jazz quartet, The Fortunes. She remains true to her wide vocal and musical range in the production of Simple Harmony; Gentle Songs to Grow By.
